Our key (past and current) engagements in Insolvency/Recovery include:
• Advising and rendering legal support to the liquidator of Wema Securities & Finance Plc on diverse areas of insolvency including attendance of meeting with the committee of inspection and filing statutory reports;
• Multimillion debt recoveries for the ailing Finance House for the settlement of the company’s creditors;
• Commenced and is presently overseeing a Petition for the winding up of an oil servicing firm for its inability to pay debts owed our client;
• Provided effective solutions for companies facing insolvency, and routinely advised directors facing threats of personal liability;
• We have alongside provided advisory on Turnaround/Restructuring alternatives;
• Assisting several clients in initiating and overseeing complex voluntary winding up matters, recovery and settlement of debts including complex out-of-court workouts and in-court restructurings;
